[ Prelims Crash Course ] NCERT – Foundation Group – 2019

Short Story: – Rajulingam was building a house; He focused on each aspects of building like outer aesthetic, painting, lavish balcony etc. but ignored the foundation part. Mild earthquake came and his home collapsed.

Moral of the story:-

“Never ignore foundation”. One can ignore outer aesthetics but it is imperative to give more attention to the foundation part. NCERTs gives you rock solid foundation. NCERTs are like “Basic Structure” of the constitution, if you compromise with it, the ethos of your preparation/strategy and hence dreams would be compromised. NCERTs are “Keystone Species” of your preparation.

UPSC-CSE is an all India level exams and being a constitutional body it has to keep in mind that all the strata of the society; rich or poor, excluded or included, an aspirant  from Bihar or an aspirant residing in the Karol Bagh’s “posh slums”,  each have equal opportunity and fair chance of cracking this exam. Coaching institute’s monthly magazines are not available in Manipur’s kamjong area but NCERTs are. Pan India presence of the NCERTs makes it the “Gomukh” from where all the “holy” questions asked in the UPSC originates.

“One cannot build a great building on a weak foundation”.

“If you are done with NCERTs then sky is your limit.” But reading is not enough imbibe them. This program will help candidates in imbibing NCERTS.
