Objective
Prelims exam is all about covering General Studies exhaustively. If one goes through the recent UPSC Prelims General Studies paper – it can be easily understood that gone are the days of straightforward and direct questions. Earlier pattern of GS Prelims Exam was quite predictable and it made easy for IAS aspirants to prepare for this stage of the exam.Â
But in recent times UPSC has brought a 360 degree change in the pattern and nature of questions asked in Prelims Exam.
We advice students to check UPSC Prelims paper of GS starting from 2019 to have a good hold over the content of the questions.Â
The biggest mistake commited by students in Prelims exam are generally :
- Give only 2 months to Prelims preparation
- Going for shortcuts - reading the summaries prepared by institutes
- Passive Solving 50-60 test series papers at home.
- As CSAT is qualifying in nature - giving it less attention
- Covering current affairs of entire 1 year in just 1 month
- Not joining a good test series to attempt the tests in formal environment
Such ignorant attitude or lack of guidance has damaging impact on ones result. Thus its our sincere advie to students who are aspiring to become Civil Servant not to committ such mistakes which has everlasting impact on ones career and life.
