Naukhai – is an agricultural festival mainly observed by people of Odisha. According to the Kosali calendar it is observed on panchami tithi (the fifth day) of the lunar fortnight of the month of Bhadrapada or Bhaadra, the day after the Ganesh Chaturthi festival.
